Andhra Pradesh to set up 2 mega super critical thermal power plants

The Andhra Pradesh government will set up two mega super critical thermal power plants with an installed capacity of 800 MW at a cost of Rs 9,600 crore in Krishnapatnam and Vijayawada districts.
Sources say that the AP Govt has paid an an advance of Rs.430 crore  to Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd   for the erection of boilers at those two plants. The deadline given to BHEL  to complete the two projects is  36 months.
